This policy explains what personal data the DCSN app processes, why, and what rights you have in connection with that. The controller under GDPR is next_brand s.r.o., Rastlinná 21, 851 10 Bratislava, Slovakia, company ID (IČO) 44 831 919, contact office@next-brand.sk.

1. What personal data we process

Your email address, and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture.
Content you upload to the app — documents, emails, notes and other sources the app processes with AI.
IP address when a new account is registered (used solely to limit abuse, see below).
Technical usage data — e.g. your chosen interface language.
Payment details (card number etc.) are NOT processed by us — these go directly to Stripe; we only see whether a subscription is active.

2. Why we process this data

Providing the service itself — performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Limiting free-plan abuse via multiple accounts (IP address) — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Invoicing and accounting — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

3. Who we share data with

We use the following processors to run the app, each with access only to the relevant part of your data for that specific purpose:

Supabase — the app's database, authentication and file storage.
OpenAI — AI processing of your content (summaries, classification, suggestions).
Stripe — payment processing.
Resend — sending sign-in and other emails from the app.
Vercel — hosting the application itself.

4. How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account (Settings → Delete account), your projects, sources and personal data are deleted immediately and permanently — except for accounting records, which we're legally required to keep for 10 years.

5. Your rights

Regarding your personal data, you have the right to:

access the data we process about you,
have inaccurate data corrected,
erasure — directly in the app via Settings → Delete account, or by emailing us,
data portability to another provider,
object to processing based on legitimate interest,
request restriction of processing.

6. Complaints

If you think we're handling your data incorrectly, please contact us directly first — we're happy to sort it out. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority, in Slovakia the Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR (dataprotection.gov.sk).

7. Cookies

The app uses only strictly necessary, functional cookies — for staying signed in, remembering your chosen language, and making sure the welcome animation doesn't replay repeatedly on the same day. We don't use any third-party analytics, marketing or advertising cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email or an in-app notice.
